One of the important application of Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiations is its use in improving eye vision of people from all over the world through LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis).
Department of Defense and NASA have experimented and have found out that the present LASIK has passed every safety and standards. LASIK operation is done to remove the extra growth on cornea.There are 3 basic steps followed in a LASIK surgery :
1. Creation of a flap of corneal tissue
2. Remodeling of the cornea underneath the flap
3. Flap is then repositioned.

iLasik procedure uses 2 lasers instead of traditional 1 laser. The first step involves the mapping of unique characteristics of an individual eyes, then an ultra fast computer guided laser is used for the creation of corneal flap. The second laser is used for vision correction with the guidance of wave-front mapping data.This according to reports provides clear vision and is considered the safest.

In one of the surveys conducted in the military over 95% achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision or even better. Check out here for LASIK information. Berbartov seemed to have justified his position in the Manu lineup and confidence in the hearts of Manu fans by scoring a brace in the 2^nd match of the Champions League qualifiers during the second half which saw ManU racing past the Scottish opponents 3-0.

Been a busy week for the football world cup qualifiers 2010.

BRAZIL cruise
Brazil thrashed Venezuela 4-0 with the comeback man Kaka scoring a goal and also helped an assist with Robinho scoring a brace and Adriano finishing the scoreline.

3 out of 3 for England
England struggled to beat Kazakhastan though with an impressive 5-1 scoreline.The home support couldn't do a any word of wonder in the first half as England were struggling in the first half.But with some changes in the midfield put the THREE LIONS on the firing line and scored 5 goals including a brace from Ronney.
This means that England have won all the three matches played and is to be seen whether they carry forward this momentum to the qualifiers against Belarus.

Germany nudges Russia
Germany with goals from Michael Ballack and Lucas Podoloski nudged Russia with an 2-1 win.
