This is what the scoreboard in Old Trafford stadium read after the 3 minutes of added time with Cristiano Ronaldo coming with a brace and 1 goal each from Carrick and Vidic for the Red Devils. But Hull City the surprise team of this season cam back strongly and did what an opposition has never done in this stadium for quite few seasons i.e score more than a goal.
Hulls came back strongly in the second half and held ManU in tender hooks for most of the second half. Great match for them considering they had to face Chelsea midweek. Although they didn't get any points from today's match,there fans would be ecstatic that they scored three goals at Old Trafford.
Crisitano Ronaldo scored a brace in his 250th appearance and is still one short of 100 goals for United. But he missed 2 chances in the second half which cannot be excused as it would have piled on the pressure for the Hulls and also would have contributed to goal difference tally which is going to be of great importance at the end of the season.
All together not that great match for Man Utd fans, but 3 points do matter!!
