One of the very few days in which the Red Devils didn't get a point from a match.After the initial 5 minutes in which Tevez scored a goal with a assist from Berbatov Man Utd were tamed by the home team afterwards.
The rest 85 mins belonged to Liverpool.Man Utd scored a own goal through Wes Brown but the entire fault must be attributed to Van Der Sar who had earlier saved a beauty.
Full credit to Liverpool who were attacking throughout the game and to their manager Rafa who had the guts to leave his both star players Gerrard and Torres to warm in the bench.
Kudos to Liv. and a great day for their fans after seeing them beat ManU after a long hiatus.
ManU have got to improve a lot and the injury to Carrick in the first half meant more disaster to the Reds.
