Here are the round wise points distribution
1st round 2-0
2nd round 3-1
3rd round 2-1
4th round 2-2
The Eucadarian showed some resilience only in the 4th round but it was too late.

Overall a great day for India in boxing after Sushil Kumar won Bronze in freestyle boxing in 66kg category.This is the first time that India have won more than one individual medal in the Olympics.

Vijender Kumar beat 19 year old Ecuadarian Gongoro 9-4 quite easily in middleweight 75 kg.Vijender showed composure and his cool and displayed great reflexes.Here are the round wise points distribution
