This is the book i read last.The book written by Sidney Sheldon is about a woman who has MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER (MPL).
The plot revolves around one Ashley Paterson who has a notion about someone stalking her.She fears for her life and becomes miserable day by day.A gripping story line well-told and fascinating till the very end.She has 2 other personalities Toni and Attente(forgot the name) in which Toni is more aggressive and is responsible for the killing of 5 people with brutal rage brings Ashley in trouble with the law enforcements.Her father is a famous doctor renowned for his advancements made by him in heart surgeries.He is well known for his charity and social work.
The story moves on with Toni fascinated by a Canadian jeweller and admires him while the other one is attracted towards a painter.In the story, after she visits her lover they end up murdered brutally.There are a total of 5 murders and by DNA and fingerprints testing it has been proved that Asley was responsible.
How the defence attorney (for return of a favor) fights single handedly in trying to acquit her,the emotions that goes with it is the story.It also describes the feelings of a person with a MPL and how it goes off is the story.
