Story

Vito Corolene is an illegal immigrant from Italy to America due to the mafia in Italy. The story revolves around Vito Corolene and his family about the challenges they face.

Vito is an ordinary immigrant who goes about his work without any difficulty. However, things change when some petty thief’s play havoc in a shop owned by his friend’s father. After this, Vito gradually becomes the savior for the illegal immigrants and Corolene family becomes undisputed leader in mafia whose main business is Olive oil and drug trafficking.

All is not well for Corolene family when Sunny the eldest son of Vito is murdered. It is now up to Michael who assumes the leadership due to Vito’s illness.

Vito had called an all Mafia meet to make peace but Corolene junior wants revenge, how Michael goes through the situation is the plot.

Business

Vito’s future plans to enable the Corolene family to stay ahead are to develop the East by operating casinos, producing movies etc. Johnny Fontane, a celebrity whose godfather is Vito passes a turbulent phase in his career. How Don revives his career forms a part of the story.

This book has everything, one of the best novels I have read. If you get your hands on it, don’t leave it before reading it.
